Agreement
These Terms form an agreement between you and AI Governance World LLC when you use aigovernanceworld.com, an account, membership, API, Academy product, credential service or enterprise service. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm authority to bind it. Do not use a paid or account service if you cannot lawfully enter this agreement.
The service
AI Governance World provides an evidence-led knowledge graph, monitoring, comparative Index, publications, data access, professional learning and related services. Coverage, features and source availability can change as evidence is revised or products develop. A specific order form or enterprise agreement may add terms; where it conflicts, the more specific signed terms control that service.
Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account except to the extent caused by our breach. Accounts and API keys may not be sold, transferred or shared outside the authorized user or organization. We may require email verification, revoke exposed keys or suspend access as reasonably necessary to protect the service.
Memberships, prices and payment
Prices, currency, billing interval, included limits and taxes appear before checkout. Paid services may be offered in USD or EUR. Stripe processes payment details and recurring billing. A recurring membership continues for the displayed interval until cancelled; cancellation stops future renewals but does not remove access already paid for during the current period unless checkout terms state otherwise.
Statutory cancellation, refund and consumer rights are not limited by these Terms. Additional refund rights follow the purchase terms or a written agreement. Contact hello@aigovernanceworld.com about billing errors.
API access
An API key grants a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to the endpoints and capacity in your plan. Follow rate limits, attribution and data-use restrictions. You may not circumvent limits, conceal request origin, resell access, reconstruct restricted datasets or attack, monitor or impair the service without express written authorization. We may throttle or suspend abusive, insecure or materially non-compliant traffic.
Academy examinations and credentials
Course access, examination rules, pass requirements, retakes and credential validity appear in the Academy and purchase flow. Impersonation, unauthorized assistance, answer harvesting or result manipulation may invalidate an attempt, revoke a credential and suspend the account.
Academy certificates are proprietary credentials issued by AI Governance World LLC. They confirm the course and assessment on the verification record. They are not academic degrees, professional licences, regulatory approvals, government endorsements or externally accredited certifications unless expressly stated. Expired, revoked and superseded credentials must not be represented as active.
Editorial and data limitations
We apply the published editorial policy and Index methodology. Governance information can be incomplete, delayed, disputed or changed by its authority. Dates, statuses, confidence and source tiers are part of the record and must not be removed in a misleading way.
The service is general information and research infrastructure, not legal, regulatory, financial, investment or compliance advice. It does not replace qualified professional review or an authoritative legal, standard, filing or decision text.
Intellectual property and permitted use
AI Governance World LLC and its licensors retain rights in platform software, editorial text, taxonomy, reports, course materials, assessments, branding and protected database elements. Third-party documents remain subject to their owners’ rights and licences. Public pages may be quoted and linked with accurate attribution and without implied endorsement. Broader copying, redistribution, model training, commercial extraction or a competing dataset requires a licence where protected.
Your submissions
You retain rights in submitted material and grant AI Governance World LLC the rights reasonably needed to store, review, reproduce and use it to provide the requested service, investigate a correction or publish evidence explicitly submitted for publication. You must have the right to provide it and must not submit unlawful, confidential, infringing, malicious or deceptive content.
Acceptable use
You must not use the service to break the law, infringe rights, distribute malware, probe security without written authorization, disrupt infrastructure, automate abusive traffic, bypass authentication or access controls, falsify credentials, impersonate someone or present altered evidence as an authentic AI Governance World record.
Third-party services and links
The service links to primary sources and uses external processors, including Cloudflare for infrastructure, Stripe for payments and Brevo for email. Their own terms apply when you interact with them directly. A citation or link does not endorse every third-party statement or service.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and cancel an eligible recurring plan through the account or support channel. We may restrict or terminate access for material breach, fraud, security risk, non-payment or unlawful use, with proportionate notice where practical and required. Provisions that should survive termination, including payment, intellectual-property, disclaimer and liability terms, continue.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without guaranteeing that every source remains accessible, every jurisdiction publishes complete data or service is uninterrupted. Nothing excludes a warranty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud and mandatory rights.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, AI Governance World LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost profits or loss caused by using the service as a substitute for authoritative professional advice. Any limit applies only where fair and enforceable.
Applicable law and disputes
Mandatory consumer, data-protection and other rights remain available. Without a specific written agreement, the law and courts competent under applicable conflict-of-law and jurisdiction rules govern. Before formal proceedings, either party may seek a good-faith resolution.
Changes
We may update these Terms for legal, security, product or operational reasons. The effective date identifies the version. Where required, we give reasonable notice of a material change affecting an active paid service. Continued use constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law.
